Lisa started up Purebirth Australia during her second pregnancy when she was trying to find other people within Australia that planned for and had conscious freebirths.

Having had her freebirth, she is now a staunch advocate for unassisted pregnancy and childbirth, feeling that women need to know that the choice is there if they wish it.
